IICRC AI Use Policy: Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) on IICRC standards and related intellectual property is prohibited. Violations will result in suspension of access. IICRC prohibits the entry of its standards and related intellectual property (IP) into any form of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, such as ChatGPT. Additionally, creating derivatives of IICRC published and draft standards using AI is also prohibited. If a licensee violates this AI Use Policy, IICRC will suspend their access to its intellectual property, and further legal action will be considered. This policy ensures that AI is not used to redistribute or create new, non-compliant versions of IICRC’s copyrighted work.

IICRC R800 provides certified inspectors with the specific guidelines to follow when investigating common types of claims. These guidelines consist of questions that should be answered, sample requirements, suggested on-location testing, etc.
